Respect for intellectual property

EatProper respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown request.

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

To submit a valid DMCA notice, send an email to dmca@eatproper.org with the following:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content on EatProper.
  3. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we'll promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We'll notify the user who posted it and give them an opportunity to file a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was in error.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notification to dmca@eatproper.org including:

  1. Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court.
  4. Your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright in appropriate circumstances.
