- 1 lb ground beef 80/20
- 1 tbsp butter (for the pan)
- salt (to taste)
Instructions

Divide ground beef into 4 equal balls. Do not overwork the meat.

Heat cast iron skillet to smoking hot. Add butter.

Place beef balls on skillet, smash flat with a press or spatula.

Season with salt. Cook 2-3 minutes until edges are crispy.

Flip once, cook 1-2 more minutes. Serve immediately.
